Cactus gardenWow, I apologize.  I was having so much fun in Arizona for the past two months I completely missed sending newsletters.  The retirement park down there has so much going on that a person is bored, it's his/her own fault.  Tons of crafts, activities, and meals.  I joining the Rattlers, a singing group that plays with teapots and kazoos, the Vista Voices, a more serious parts choir, the Chapel Ensemble which sang hymns in parts on Sunday at the on-site service and a handbell choir.  Boy, I haven't played handbells in 30 years so it was an awakening, but a lot of fun.  I also went to beginning Line Dancing as well as the gym, pool and hot tub.  Now I know why there are so many spry 80-year-olds there--they keep too active to get old.

I brought home cactus gardens to be built for my grandchildren.  I hadn't even reached home after giving it to my grandsons, when they texted me with the completed garden.  Guess it was a hit!

I'm done with my genie story and into rewrites.  On top of that, I agreed to write the play for the park for next year.  They have a group that puts one on every season and the person who usually writes it is leaving, so I got drafted.  Keep your fingers crossed that I do it justice.

Left there on March 1st and this week it snows.  Welcome to Colorado! <g>  I loved the frosting on the trees, though.  I love snow--as long as I don't have to drive in it.

Colorado snow in MarchIt's active here, too.  I'm working on the Pikes Peak Writers Conference, held in Colorado Springs in April, and the NINC Conference, held in Florida in September so that keeps me out of trouble.  My birthday is next week so I'm looking forward to my annual massage that my daughter gets me. <g>  And Easter is just around the corner.

My ever rescheduled trip to Ireland is now tentatively looking like May.  Keep your fingers crossed that we finally make it.  We've only been waiting for two years now!

I hope all is good with you and your families. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay warm.
