Back in Colorado for the holiday season.  Spent Thanksgiving at my daughter's in her new house.  She and her husband like to entertain so they bought a bigger place.  It held 20 for dinner. <g>

Now racing ahead to Christmas.  Shopping is mostly done.  Still some wrapping to do.  Just baked last weekend and finished cards two days ago.  Whew!  Not sure yet if we'll be at Torie's or my house for Christmas itself.  We'll see.  Meanwhile, snow is due soon.  Finally!  Here in the mountains we've had a couple of small snowfalls, but Denver and Colorado Springs haven't yet had any measurable snow--which breaks the record.  Keep you fingers crossed.

I'd love to hear about holiday traditions in your family.  We have to have whipped cream salad with dinner and a fire in the fireplace for ours.  Torie has claimed the position of the elf who passes out the gifts.  We only open one at a time so everyone can share in the joy.

I hope you enjoy my haunting in Dogwood short story.  I had a lot of fun with it.  I'm a huge fan of Ghost Hunters and Kindred Spirits so they provided a lot of background for me.
